A Circular Tour of Stewarton

Part of the Ayrshire Walking and Wheeling Festival

When: 29th September 20204 from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm

Overview: A circular walk encompassing most of the town using woodland and riverside paths and some pavements. The walk will also go through Cunningham Watt Park. A walk full of interest and opportunities to spot wildlife. Please bring your own refreshments.

Where: Meet at the entrance to Lainshaw Woods in David Dale Avenue, close to the railway viaduct in Stewarton, KA3 3AX

Approximate distance: 4 miles

Additional details:

  • The walk is considered to involve a moderate level of effort.
  • The route includes a steep set of steps that may be unsuitable for those with mobility issues.
  • Open to all ages. However, children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Walking shoes/boots are recommended.
  • Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a short lead.
