Q: Where does SWAT get funding?
A: There are several sources for funding including East Ayrshire Council, The Co-operative Community Fund, The Robertson Trust and Ayrshire Leader which funds rural development throughout mainland Ayrshire.
We also gain funds from donations from individuals, local businesses like the Co-Opand from our own activities, eg., the sale of SWAT calendars, Christmas cards, Bramble Jelly, bird-boxes, etc.

Q:  When are the work days?
A:  The work days are noted on the SWAT calendar.  They are on the 2nd and 4th Sunday each month from 9:30am to 11:30 am.

Q:  Where do you meet for work days?

A:  There is a container at the end of the lane which runs parallel to and to the north of Montgomerie Drive.  It is at the beginning of Lainshaw Woods near Scottish Water Treatment Plant. The exact dates are listed in the annual SWAT Calendar as well as listed in the "Events" pages of this website.

Q:  When and where are regular meetings held?
A:  
Meetings to discuss current and future activities are held in The Cottage at John Knox Church on the last Monday of each month commencing at 7.30pm to 9.00pm. 

Q: When is your AGM?
A:  It takes place in March every year.  The exact date will be published here soon.
